Shipping policy
At The Home Store, we want to make the delivery of your appliances as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our delivery service is currently available in the Ottawa/Gatineau region.
Delivery Fees: Delivery fees are based on distance from our store at 1980 Merivale Road, Ottawa. Items are delivered to the house. Daily delivery is available for an additional $30.
- 0–30 km: Standard $60 / Daily $90
- 30–50 km: Standard $90 / Daily $120
- 50–70 km: Standard $120 / Daily $150
- 70–90 km: Standard $170 / Daily $200
- 90–130 km: Standard $270 / Daily $300
- 130–160 km: Standard $350 / Daily $380
Delivery Timeframes: Our standard delivery service is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Daily delivery is also available for an additional $30, and we'll do our best to accommodate your preferred timeframe. If you need expedited delivery, please let us know and we'll work with you to make it happen.
Delivery Locations: We currently offer delivery services in Ottawa, Gatineau and surrounding areas, up to 160 km from our store. If you are outside of this area and interested in purchasing an appliance from us, please reach out and we'll see what we can do to help.
Delivery Policies: Our delivery team will be in touch to confirm your delivery date and time. Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery at the specified time. We're happy to accommodate any special instructions you may have, such as delivery to a specific room in your home.
Old Appliance Removal: We understand that appliance removal can be a hassle, so we offer removal services for an additional fee. Please contact us for more information about this service.
Installation: Please let us know in advance if you will need the installation (with extra charge) of the appliances as well.
